Not The MLK Post

To say I have thought about this blog even once in the last 4 days would be a lie.

I've been more consumed with thoughts of how to roll over in bed with the least amount of effort.

And how to make the noise children stop happy.

I'm not even that sick. I'm just exhausted. But I think I'm better.

I watched Baby Mama. I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I mean, I expected it to be decent, but I really liked it. I think Tina and Amy are hilarious. Throw in a hippy, egocentric Steve Martin, and you've got a winner.

I also watched "Over Her Dead Body" which was as dumb as I expected. I do love Paul Rudd though. And every time I see Eva Longoria I say out loud to J, "I just don't think she's pretty" and every time I really want him to say, "You're right. She isn't. Besides, who can compare to you?" But every time he says, "I just can't agree with you there."

I think he might have a lot in common with my brother David. That's alls I gots to say about that.

Since I already confessed that I didn't think about my blog for 4 days, it's kind of presumptuous of me to think you're gonna wanna read any blathering I am inclined to post. So instead I'll leave you with a few of my favorite things. No dog bites, no bee stings, but there is a baby falling, I'm pretty sure.

I'll go ahead and say it for you Omar. Nothing of Avee. I still love her. The only thing I had of her was a conversation with her making no sense, me trying to make sense of her nonsense, and me losing, royally. Not gonna do it. She can post it on her future blog under the lable "times I acted like I didn't know what my mom was talking about and talked in circles and totally drove her crazy." or "times I acted like I thought the word 'boring' and 'born' were the same thing and made my mom think I was destined for the short bus".
The end.

FIRST!

I haven't thought about my blog either, so it's ok. I enjoyed "I wanna rock and roll all nite.... and party everyday!" And I'm pretty sure Danyo could kick my butt at Wii.
I hope you feel better. :(

You did notice I was first, right?

in my google feed... it left out the strike through on the words that you crossed out in your sentence about the noise... so it read, "And how to make the noise children stop happy."

I read it three times trying to figure out what you meant.

I'm glad I clicked over and realized that you are actually coherent.

I hope you get good rest tonight with no kids in your bed.

Awwww honey, I so sorry you don't feel good. And I agree with you about Eva. I don't think she's that pretty either.

I am sick too. It was quite disappointing to me that there was no school today because I had to entertain my children instead of resting...

You know, I didn't think Eva was that pretty when she had long hair. Now that it's shorter, she's a stone cold fox. I think that's one of the highest statuses that a woman can achieve.

I love how in an effort to explain to me that you're not going to give equal time to your kids in this post, you told a story and ended up giving them almost equal time. I can't imagine how long your posts will be once baby Cat arrives.

Tori cheated.

"Hey, you spit me on the arm." I was laughing so hard when Bo said this after Danyo spit on him.

Eva who? I don't even know who you are talking about. Is that a good thing?

When you figure out how to make the children happy or the noise stop post it. Charge for it. You'll be rich.

Rock On.

Is your sickness contagious? Or is it MY kind of sickness...? I dont even know why I ever bother asking questions that will never get answered.

I like you. Thats why.

Danyo is AWESOME. That flip was perfect baby stunt.

Um, I don't know who Eva is. I will go google and come back when I am more pop culturally adept and weigh in with my pretty/not pretty opinion. :)

So were you born yesterday or boring yesterday? And do they HAVE a short bus in Iowa?!

Also, Bo is my true guitar hero. I love his "how-to" tips at the end. He, he.

OK, I didn't get a chance to watch the videos previously.

It sounds like Bo has a hint of a British accent in that middle clip.

THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT, OMAR!!! ok I laughed on 14 separate ocassions on the first video and a really long time when Bo said 'hey you spit me on the arm.' :D Keep taking that echinacea and vitamin C, my mom would be proud.

Tori 1,2, &3: Good job! It's been a while since I've seen you there at the top. Btw, Danyo thinks your avatar is hilarious.

MommyJ: That'll teach you to read ME from your feed! I'm glad I can be considered coherent by someone. :)

UCMama: Not as pretty as us, right?

Heffalump: I'm sorry you were sick. Hope you're better today. When school means being free of the majority, it's nice. I was glad for the holiday so J would be home. He probably wasn't so glad. Oh well.

Omar: stone cold fox eh? I'm sure she'd appreciate the compliment. J probably thinks the same thing, he just doesn't dare say it to me.
Baby Cat will undoubtedly turn this blog into one gigantic post after another. Oh wait, I already do that...

Cindy: Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny.

Klin: Are you just being nice? Gabby from Desperate Hookers, I mean Housewives. I'm pretty sure I won't be marketing anything for parenting magic anytime soon. :)

Plain Jame: Touche! I answer. Sometimes. Do you always check? I know I've talked to you before. Was I talking to myself? My illness was contagious. Is your sickness of the morning variety? I definitely don't have that.

CYM: Danyo will be happy to know you appreciate his skills. The video is because he did that on accident and we all laughed so much, he tried to recreate it. He did a good job too.
The whole Avee tape I didn't post was because she was trying to convince me that she WAS at my wedding, and she was "born yesterday", which I thought was hilarious. But she didn't repeat that. She just kept saying boring.

Omar Again: British accent/Speech impediment

EarthGirl: Wow, if it sounds British to you, then it must be!

Hey! You spit me on the arm.

Ok, that first videois hilarious. I love it that he's actually "counting" and then when he does the little flip you are all "Pffft".
I bet you'd have spit me on the arm.

Did that boy do a somersault? Crazy skillz.
Thats for getting that song stuck in my head. I hope the residents understand. "I just wanna rocknroll all night" ............

Glad you are doing better! The world on the INTERNET was getting kind of cold without you!
Great movies! I love the sumersault!! I will show it to the hubby when he gets home. He will laugh so much!
Nothing like kids on guitars!
Also, Baby Mama! Love it! They are so awesome together! Make me laugh and laugh!! "Oh OOOOOO!!!!"

I LOVED Baby Mama . . . laughed over and over again over things I wouln't admit to in a church court.

Our MayDay loves to pretend to play with the Wii. Mostly, we set up a three player race on MarioKart and MayDay spends the whole race taking the remote out of the wheel and then putting it back in . . . ad infinitum. At least the big boys don't get last place. They finish the race before MayDay even starts his first lap.

Bo might be better at Guitar Hero than CPod . . . but not me, because I rock, and because of the whole professional musician thing. I guess that makes me a cheater. But he's definitely better than I would have been at 6. (Is he 6? I'm not sure.)

Anyway. I'll stop now.

Wait, what? Baby Cat? Morning sickness? Did I miss a post somewhere?

Big M doesn't think Eva is pretty. Take THAT! No wait, don't. He digs Felicity Huffman. But only first season Felicity Huffman.

I can't get the videos to work. Poo. Curse you, Chinese censors!

Destination: Short Bus...sounds like the makings of a reat action adventure movie or at least a decent slapstick comedy. ;)

When it comes to Eva, I'm gonna have to go with the Seinfeld reasoning here...

Salsa is the number one condiment in America.
You wanna know why? Because people like saying Salsa.

Except in this case Salsa should read Eva Longoria
