"Aw Maaaaaaan! You Caught Me!"

That was Bo's response this morning when I saw him and said, "Hey! What's all over your face!?"
He was genuinely congratulating me on my astuteness.

Because I can't ever take a picture of one child, and not the other, Avee insisted I take this picture. I always get the biggest kick out of her "posed" pictures.
How come I never noticed before what a sad little orphan face she has? Sir, more pho please?

The other day I took this picture of Avee holding Danyo because I think it's hilarious how he totally honors her attempts as though they are legitimate. My favorite: How he swings his legs around her waist. Just a few short inches above the ground.
And of course, Bo wouldn't stay out of the picture. I find it interesting that this is the same boy who made the babysitter close her eyes while he walked by in an Elmo night shirt. He can't bear the shame of being seen in Elmo, or without pants and there he is, pantsless, in a night shirt, playin' a foo'. Don't make no sense 'tall

And this. The smile that launched a thousand heart-melts. This view makes so much worthwhile. I think she knows that. The little stinker...

The first picture of Avee reminds me of sad puppy dog eyes.

I haven't been first anywhere since I got this iPhone. I must be using it wrong.

We're just starting to get to the point where my boy can't bear to have me taking pictures of the girl without me also taking a picture of him. Which is funny, because he doesn't like to pose for pictures.

You see how I made this whole comment about me? It's an art form.

Um, what is all over his face? I'm genuinely curious. And he totally looks guilty.

But she doesn't. She looks abandoned. What are you doing to those kids?

Oh, how I love children posing for pictures! MayDay loves the camera, and when he sees it out, and figures out he is not the object of its obsession, he launches himself in between the photoer and photoee, so generally what I end up with is random pictures of whatever body part was in the frame when I clicked it. Some funny shots, for sure.

G-Dog, when caught red handed, or when preparing to do something he knows is prohibited, will tell me to go to my room, or the the kitchen . . . anywhere but where he is, because, of course, if I don't actually see him doing it, he can't get in trouble, right? Right. If only that worked for the rest of us, too.

I think I know whats on his face, and I don't think I want to.. but the orphan annie look is precious.. no wonder the child gets away with everything.. perhaps.. or at least she deserves to.. !!!

My kids do that on a daily basis, pose shamelessly. So what was on his face?

Just so you know, I'm completely content with being like 9th or 12th on your comment list. I thrive on being practically nobody.

cute pictures! I love the poses.

Hows your meningitis? :)(hypo)

I told my other half about you and now I just say "you know my friend nobody?" and then he says, "no, I don't. I think you are making her up just to say you have a friend."

Maybe he's right?
I always knew that Nobody wanted to be my friend.....

Bo looks like a rocker in the picture of all three kiddies. Does he know any Van Halen? ;)

you had better be careful with that girl later on. she'll give that same face to some boy and ask for something she probably shouldn't have. and more pho? HA!

Whats up player!!! I love your kids, they are so fun and darn cute!!!

I am loving that Parker lets me take pictures. He eats up every minute of the attention...however, I hear that goes away as they get older.

And what is that on Bo's face?just curious!

Ya'll have the cutest kids evah!

The next blogfest should be at your house where there is entertainment non-stop! But then you wouldn't get a break :(

The lengths I go to so I can have some unposed pictures. I hide behind bushes on my stomach or hang from ropes from my ceiling.

The one bad thing about digital cameras is you can no longer pretend to take the unwanted picture for the noncute at the moment child. "Let me see the picture" still makes me cringe.

Your kids are absolutely adorable in their posed photos, though!
