Because I don't want to forget...

"Dad, when you are counting by 10's, what comes after a jillion?"

And later...

Referring to a throat culture (which he got on his 5th birthday and FREAKED OUT about), "Mom, what's that thing they check your throat with at the doctor's office?"

"The thing that looks like a big popsicle stick?"

"No."

"Oh yeah, you mean when they swab your throat?"

"Yeah! So, that's what they do to get the slob out of your throat."

A jillion and ten, jillion and twenty, etc.

Because I don't actually know your kids, it's OK for me to pick favorites. And though it had been Avee for a while, and Danyo was trying to make it close with the falling by the TV and the mud video, I must say that Bo has recently jumped past both of them with the "handcops" and now this, the slob in his throat.

i love kids. wish i had more, but oh, well. i busted ben the other day trying to tell henry that back in the day the world used to be in black and white (they were watching an old movie). this is real life, dear, not calvin and hobbes.
oh yeah, i should have put in a pronunciation thingy for my niece's name. zejda somehow magically becomes ZAY-duh. i think it was my sister's friend's last name.

I'd think a good mom as your self would give her kids something good on their birthdays.
But hey, whatever, your kids. Who am I to judge?

Yay!!!! A jillion and ten.... So in my head he's been counting all day and finally arrived at a "jillion".

Which by the way looks like it has way to many dotted letters, no way any word should get that many.

Bo, come over and play sometime, you will fit right in. True my boys are a little older, but they generally don't take advantage of littler kids...much.

Dang, I hate it when I get slob in my throat! :D

I need to do better at writing down what my kids say because I forget pretty quickly!

I can't believe you gave him a throat slob for his birthday. I can think of about a jillion and ten things that would have been better than that!!! (Henry loses it more over throat cultures than he does over shots. It's not pretty.)

I love capturing these little glimpses into their thought processes. And Bo is one awesome little man. You definitely don't want to forget this stuff...
